Shalom means completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord. Shalom comes from the root word “shalam” meaning to be complete, perfect and full. In modern Hebrew the obviously related word Shelem means “to pay for”, and Shulam means “to be fully paid.” Jesus paid it fully!!!
When you speak out the word Shalom – you are not only proclaiming peace, but all the above meanings of the word over a person. You are placing a wonderful blessing on the one you greet with the word “Shalom”.

Pomegranate Ministries was founded in 2010 when the Lord spoke to Sonnet Hanekom about preparing the Bride of Christ. The instrument given to her was the fragrances in biblical anointing oils.
Sonnet started this journey as a reseller of another ministry’s oils, but after much training, reading, praying and waiting, the Lord lead me to start blending oils in 2014.
The Pomegranate symbolises the Bride of Christ and the love of the Bridegroom for the bride.
