The areola is part of the human breast. It is a circular area of skin around the nipple that is often darker and thicker than the surrounding skin. The areola plays a key role in the aesthetic look of a breast. Since a woman’s self-image can be influenced by factors such as the appearance of her breasts, a missing areola can be psychologically devastating.

A woman can survive breast cancer after undergoing a mastectomy, and she can regain her figure with a breast reconstruction. Areola and nipple tattooing provides the “finishing touch” after breast surgery and patients feel that the tattooing process helps them during the last part of their recovery journey.

Two sessions, six weeks apart, are recommended. Scar removal resulting from breast surgery is also available.

Permanent makeup prices do not include a touch-up application. Touch-up procedures are necessary to add to the shape or colour of healed results or finalize and refine your permanent makeup.

Two or more appointments may be necessary to achieve and complete most permanent make-up procedures. This will be discussed with you in detail at your initial consultation and / or follow-up visit. It is recommended to have your touch-up appointment six weeks after your original procedure.
