Permanent eyeliner

No more smears or smudges! Eyeliner can be done in many styles and colours ranging from soft, natural looking lash enhancements to a defined line or a more artistic style, creating the illusion of bigger eyes and accentuating beautiful eyes.

Pigments are gently deposited beneath the first layer of the skin. The technique of tattooing implants pigment more superficially into the skin, and is a much more delicate process than body tattooing. Topical anaesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to ensure comfort.

The permanent eyeliner procedure is typically performed in a session of about two hours, with a touch-up session six weeks later.

Immediately following the procedure, the eyeliner may appear overly dark, but the intensity of the colour will soften and heal approximately 20-30% lighter in 2-4 weeks.

Why get permanent eyeliner?

Every client has her own story to tell, but many women simply want to look their best at all times and find that this simple solution removes the time-consuming task of applying eyeliner from their daily routine. Athletes or sports enthusiasts who can’t perform with make-up on due to perspiration, want to look their best at all times. Those who are visually impaired or dealing with arthritis, Parkinson’s, and other conditions find it difficult to apply make-up properly.

How permanent is permanent eyeliner?

Permanent eyeliner is a two-step process and includes a touch-up procedure six weeks after the initial procedure. After the touch-up procedure, it will typically last between three and four years.

Please remember:

Eyeliner and other permanent makeup are a safe and effective procedure. Even so, no cosmetic procedure is for absolutely everyone. Clients should be over 18 years of age and it’s very important to let us know if you have any health concerns that might be an issue in respect to having pigment implanted into your skin.

It is recommended that you refrain from wearing contact lenses until healed to prevent infection. If you have been using a lash growth serum, prone getting to or currently having any infection build up around the eye, or wearing lash enhancements, you are not a good candidate for this procedure.

Permanent makeup touch-up prices

Permanent makeup prices do not include a touch-up application. Touch-up procedures are necessary to add to the shape or colour of healed results or finalise and refine your permanent makeup.

Two or more appointments may be necessary to achieve and complete most permanent make-up procedures. This will be discussed with you in detail at your initial consultation and / or follow-up visit. It is recommended to have your touch-up appointment six weeks after your original procedure.
